Weather radar comes in handy in the areas where I drive. I have used it to stay put while a hail core passed in front of me. I have pulled over under an overpass in extremely heavy rain and checked the radar to see if it was worth staying put for a while to let it clear. When you drive as much as I do, it's helpful. I actually have two radar apps.

I have the stock 2014 BRZ head unit. The navigation has always left something to be desired. I used to enter my destination in both the head unit and the phone in case I needed a detour, but the head unit has become so laggy that now I just don't bother.

I also stream my music library through the head unit, and the MP3 player control interface on the head unit also sucks. So I need the phone within reach to avoid punching the head unit.
