you can make almost any ecu work if you don't care about controlling factory features. Our first LS swap years ago was like that. Car sucked to drive without power steering and had to do some ghetto wiring to control the fans, fuel pump, etc. Also never had a full functioning gauge cluster so that was difficult on trips.
