What are the benefits of keeping the stock CR ratio?
Higher CR needs less boost for the same power, less boost means less heat generated. Bonus points for better off boost throttle response. I run E85 exclusively so there is nothing to worry about at 12.5:1.

Lowering the CR just makes the turbo more laggy and requires more boost to make the same power. It may be good for people with 91 octane as their only option, but I suppose I'm lucky to have access to much higher octane fuel.
