Steamed hashbrowns are prepared on the grill just like regular hash browns at Waffle House, but instead of using oil they use a cup of ice and cover them. They don't get as crispy but it cuts the calorie count down to about a 3rd because it is basically just potatoes at that point, and to me taste just as good.
