But since they obviously require more than $100k under the hood to beat a boosted-sprayed 4-door FWD Jetta in the 1/4mi, they haven't held on like the S2000 which could easily handle the same VW (maybe with only 5 figures under the hood if you turn your own wrench)

I do think it will do better than the cars you listed, on the "special spectrum" which IMO ranges from the NSX all the way to the Veloster Turbo, we are definitely on the NSX side of the equation, but still short of the FD rx7, TT Supra, S2000, etc
