Sorry to hear. Keep us updated. Yes these engines are supposed to be able to be "pushed hard" as you state but they do fail because of oil starvation.(I wish Subaru would extend the warrantee on the 2013's because of the silicone issue blocking oil flow and fess up to the issue)
