Btw if anyone with a auto dimming or mirror with homelink is interested in hardwiring their radar detecter I bought a cord from Invisicord (
http://invisicord.com/osc2/catalog/p...products_id=31) and it's extremely easy to do! I will post pictures and a quick writeup in the DIY section tomorrow when it's light out.
I bought the 12" cable which I thought would be long enough but it barely reached to where I have my V1 mounted so I would recommend getting the 16" wire and tucking anything you don't need. I'll post pictures where my V1 is positioned as well so you can get an idea of the wire length needed.
