The most common reason that warranty is denied is no proof of oil changes or inspection that shows low oil as the probable cause of failure. That is why everybody is asking about the oil level. If oil level was good and you can prove it was changed then the warranty should be no problem.

These are exactly what happened to my 2013 BRZ with 55k. I showed proof of proper oil level and oil change receipts. It was silicon blocking oil to bearing 4 but was most likely caused by a repair done by the dealership to fix the timing cover leak I was experiencing. Since I was able to prove that the car was taken care of, they didn't argue with me about warrantying the work. Just food for thought.
