"CEL issue" doesn't mean anything. What was the problem that caused the CEL?
The most common reason that warranty is denied is no proof of oil changes or inspection that shows low oil as the probable cause of failure. That is why everybody is asking about the oil level. If oil level was good and you can prove it was changed then the warranty should be no problem.
