I race with all the clubs, SCCA is the most competitive with the biggest turnout and they are the most stringent with the rules. You'll get 5 runs (rarely 6).

ER uses the SCCA rules but isn't as stringent with their implementation they usually give 6 runs. ER pays out cash for the top drivers and if you win your class you get a T shirt.

NTAXS caps their events at about 70 people and they fill up fast (within 8hrs of opening) they give 8-10 runs and are great. Classes are just based on displacement, so you won't win but you don't get anything for winning so no biggie.

BMWCCA has displacement based classes for non-BMWs you get 8-10 runs but they are the lowest attended. Ride-a-longs are limited to instructors, so you can only have a passenger as an instructor and novices can only ride with the instructors (the other clubs allow passengers with any competitors).

There aren't any bad clubs to race with and most of the competitors attend events with multiple clubs.
