That amount of snow in the UK would be a major catastrophe! Cars abandoned, schools closed, people can't make work, major run on precooked meals from the supermarkets, bread and milk gone!! Snow stays for the best part of 2 days in which time someone has managed to decapitate themselves sledding and A&E gets clogged with young and old wanting flue jabs!!!
