I'm talking about storage for small things in the dash or console: entry cards, wallet, phone, USB sticks, Star Wars figures, cans of Vienna Sausage, etc. Overall storage hasn't been an issue for me. Just throw bigger stuff in the "back seat."

I installed the US Scion OEM sliding armrest in mine. It doesn't look quite as good as the JDM flip up arm rest, but it's more functional because it's higher (for taller Americans) and it slides out of the way to allow access to the cupholders and outlet. My Iphone 5 will fit in the cupholder slot with the pad slid forward over it. Take the cupholder out and you have room for just about any phone.

Yeah, I looked at this one, but the thing is, if you slide it forward so you can - you know, rest your arm on the armrest - your phone has to go behind it, where I can't get to it (AT A STOP LIGHT), and it also makes charing kinda awkward. If you slide the armrest back so you can store your phone closer, there's no reason to have the armrest. Which is why I didn't buy it.
