That said, I would just like a little more thought put into some extra storage space. I've never been one for fancy "spaceship" interiors. I just want the important stuff to be easy to see and access. But I do need more storage. The "bin" under the climate controls is a joke. The console is the worst of all worlds. If anything, I'd like to see a functional arm rest. I was going to install the aftermarket one, until I realized it would remove the only place I can store my phone (right next to the outlet).

Also, fix the damned stereo control pad on the left side of the steering wheel. The Toyota version is a joke. Buttons are too small, don't register input well, and if I hit "+" more than twice quickly, it throws my radio into chaos.

I'd love to see the head unit are angled toward the driver (like the tC), but I don't think there's a realistic chance of that. Simple, cheap interior is one of the things that keeps these cars under $30K.

So to summarize: make a real armrest, make bin big enough for a phone, fix steering mounted stereo control, and I'm good. Oh, and if you want to kill the analog speedo, that's fine with me.
They will keep adding more doodads, gizmos and thingamabobs to make it seem upscale but no I doubt it will see any real changes.

The big question is when do you think the dollar store where they get the 1986 clock will run out of stock?
