When wrecked ones get totaled out, Jeep specialists will buy them out of auction and either hoard them for parts or rebuild them because they're still worth something. Where a lot of Cherokees in the yard come from individuals who just want them out of their yards, you can sell a junk Wrangler on Craigslist and still get considerably more than the boneyard would pay.

On the other hand, Wrangler people are mostly mall crawlers anyway. The people who do their own work and would want cheap parts are going to gravitate toward the other models.

One more thing, I spend a ton of time in Jeep section and never hear any complaints. You gotta be kidding me, Jeep Wranglers have far more aftermarket support than any vehicle on market, even more than twins. Don’t believe me? Look it up, I had Jeep before this one and never had issue with parts. I don’t need a junkyard, most keep Jeeps or get rid of them early. It’s either for you or not unlike cars. With that said, I want wither RF or twin for my other dd for fun, dependable, good mpg.
