Yeah with salvage titles, take 'em to a good body shop and inspect for frame damage before tracking, they've been crashed and repaired on a budget, I guarantee it.
The cheapest clean title (or so they say) on craigslist near me is listed for $13k and has 123k miles on it. If you're in a less populated area I can see getting a nice car at that price, but not much less.
