I'll be instructing at the Autox School on March 3, pads aren't too big of a deal for autox (your tires are going to be the limiting factor and even the stock pads will be enough to lock up those tires).
Autox is short and you have enough time between runs that you don't really need to worry about overheating your brake pads.
For good, cheap pads, I liked running the Stoptech Street pads for autox and daily driving. The Hawk Street/Race pads are great for autox and beginner to intermediate track work (once you're an advanced track driver you need dedicated track pads).
