So I got around to fitting the two Diode Dynamics parts at the weekend and tried them out on my commute to work today.
The Smart Tap is possibly the best $60 anyone could spend on this car! I don't care for the stupid strobe affect nonsense nor do I care about it leaving the turn signals on after I leave the car.. BUT.. The three blink thing is priceless!
The 'Always On' mod on the other hand is possibly the worst $60 anyone could spend on this car! I fail to see any difference between this and stock. I left the car in drive with the hand brake on and nothing is lit up... So much for always on. Slip it into neutral and take the hand brake off and the DRL and Boomerangs come on... Well I'm not 100% sure if the boomerangs were on before or not but wow.. talk about underwhelmed. It certainly doesn't do what its name implies as it doesn't leave anything 'Always on'. Simply terrible.
