See below. It could be I guess, but that type of mounting and reinforcement would be up to you.
With the aluminum uprights we prototyped (months ago), we tested some weight on the wing on the car. This is 160 pounds, which isn't a ton but enough to test how the uprights, mounts, and wing handle that weight at this point. So far so good.
