Yeah that is fine. I drive it how ever you want. I think people are misunderstanding what I’m getting at.

The OP asked if it was okay to run high RPMs. In summery I said it’s unavoidable in top gear without reducing speed. But if possible you should upshift to avoid wear and reduce fuel use. I’m not saying it’s going to blow the engine. Some people are arguing that it doesn’t increase wear when in fact it does. It’s debatable how much wear it adds just as it’s debatable how much wear double clutching would add or how much wear it will save on the syncros. If you like how it sounds at 4K then go for it.
