Who came up with 4500 RPM at 35 MPH?
I said earlier that I "cruise" at around 3300 RPM on the Highway in 5th and in the City drive around 4K and up. There's lots of cornering in a City...I drive the same on rural roads with lots of bends.
It's not doing any harm IMO except burning a bit more fuel.
