I haven’t verified this but this is what the guy from element tuning wrote me:

Thank you for your interest in Element Tuning. We've sold thousands of our EMS but it's for many applications within the Subaru platforms. As far as success we have nearly all Global Time Attack track records with the GST Motorsports Impreza and we've had numerous track records/championships with our STi. We developed the FRS/BRZ platform in 2013 and have probably the fastest and most successful FRS time attack car out there. So this isn't a new product, we've simply decided to adapt it to offer a better and easier way to transplant an LS in place of the FA20.

Given motor swaps are very common reason people purchase our EMS, I wanted to offer the same plug an play solution for a different brand of engine. The LS is a very simple motor compared to the FA20 so frankly that was easy. The hard part was the original development of the EMS to be fully CAN integrated but as stated it's been that way for years.

Now we offer a plug in EMS and a plug in engine harness for the LS3 swap. We have people who are swapping with the LS2 but the 58 tooth trigger if the LS3 is superior and it should be used. It's all fully integrated so you have full functionality of the electronic steering, stability control, gear based programmable traction control, all the dash tach, speedometer, odometer, gas, etc function, all your oem climate controls function, the CAN diagnostics will communicate with oem manufacturer's equipment for testing ABS, airbags systems, your fuel pump controller, pump, and lines can all be left oem, all fans and AC function as oem.

The bottom line is this is a one of a kind product for this swap. With years of proven performance on the platform and about 1.5 years racing our LS swap FRS, there really aren't any surprises. The EMS with the engine harness is about $2500.

Has anybody used this EMS?
