My cold weather issues
- A lot more rattles from the interior; the rear deck lid and and something from the front driver side interior. Cold plastic noise of two pieces rubbing when hitting bumps
- Much harder to shift into lower gears when cold, have to double clutch when downshifting into 2nd. Sometimes does a little grind before slipping into gear. Sometimes impossible to get into 1st when rolling at over 6km/h even with double clutching. Shifting issues go away once trans fluid is warmed up.
-Clutch pedal stiffer (Normal for all cars really, a fresh DOT4 clutch fluid replacement would definitely help)
-Weak window motors. Have frozen stuck with just a slight buildup of ice.
-Have been unable to get into my car because of frozen windows and the "Open door, window rolls down slightly" design. Had to get into my car through the trunk and dropping the rear seats, scrape the ice around the window, then slowly try to open the door while pushing the window down slightly. If I wasn't careful I would have broken the window for sure.
