Idk about your muscle cars.... I have only had Gto, camaro, corvette etc.... I think what you consider a "brakestand" is a burnout. A lot of drag racers have line locks to lock the front wheels for their burnouts, and you couldn't stay in a waterbox without using brakes anyways. Well, most cars couldnt I guess. You'll always be creeping forward.
