hp, torque and "fun"
great little explainer video about horsepower and torque in layman's terms. essentially, when you're geared to extract power from the engine, you can enjoy it all - and when you handicap your high hp car with crappy gears for gas mileage or whatever purposes, your supposedly fun car feels like a corolla.
this is one reason why our little 200 hp, 156 ft/lb torque car feels so fun, cause its set up to make the absolute most of what it has unlike many other cars, which are geared for max efficiency instead of max fun.
its also why you have to wring the crap out of it to get to that fun.. but hey.
