I used to make this run down SH 130 to Seguine frequently when I lived in Texas, routinely cruising along at 90 MPH at 4000 RPM.
The only thing you had to worry about on SH 130 was hogs. No, not cops. I mean feral hogs. You didn't want to hit one of those bastards at 90.
Cops never bothered out there. What was the point? Setting your cruise on 90 was still within the 10% error the FMVSS allows for your uncertified speedometer. They couldn't make enough money out there to justify putting a trooper on patrol.
Oh, also, that pic shows "heavy traffic" for SH 130. And it's smooth as silk. There's no reason not to go 90.
