I got tired of waiting so I borrowed a Lincoln Electronics MIG welder. I practiced on some spare metal and went to town. I have never welded before today. I was putting down some killer tack welds... Kidding... I would consider what I did ugly as fuck...lol but it held. At least I'm moving forward with this wide body install!
I'm going over the whole area with short hair body filler then fiberglass and resin. I still need to clean up what I did on the driver side then weld the passenger side.
Maybe I'll post pics tomorrow... lol
