Well... turns out to be safe from having to do this again down the line, I'm going to cut a little bit more above the arcs. No biggie... good thing I didn't get to weld yet though...
Also, I became aware of required cuts I have to make to the front bumper. It should not affect any of my preconceived plans for the front bumper... actually it pretty much guarantees I'll be molding the entire front bumper.... that's going to be fun!
