LOL. They will. Oregon has a statutory increase in the minimum wage on the books for every year until 2023. The stations are not going to keep paying more and more every year for unnecessary employees. You may have a few holdouts here and there, but they'll end up charging more for their gas to pay for the menials, and their business will eventually drop off to where it doesn't make any sense any more.
Anybody who has decided to make a "career" out of pumping gas should already be looking for other work, even if the station says they'll keep him on.
Panic is not required because pumping your own gas is an idiotic thing to panic over. What do they think people do in the 48 other states that pump their own gas?
