For me, I find it easier to pull out the front most part first. And by ‘just pull’, I think that just means no tools, not ‘be gentle and pull.’ Lol. It’s more of a quick yank when I do mine. Same as the radio surround trim, grab firmly and yank to get it out of its clips. My friends who see me do it are always like ‘whoa, not too rough, huh.’
