nikitopo: yes, PS4S very probably will be more competitive/better .. but is PS4 that bad of choice? IIRC at least by Michelin data it's capabilities were reported as being on PSS level, with slight loss at just one of dry track tests, but slightly better everywhere else, especially wet. So you get almost same as PSS, but at even wider sizing choice and better wear (also important thing, even on track, as can reduce spendings on wearables). If PSS are still considered as competitive choice, why not non-S MPS4? Even more so for dual-use tire choice. MPS4S most probably will be better, but until they are available at R17 size, i'm still considering getting non S-es for next season in spring.
