If you plan on lowering your car later in the future, I'd recommend Rallyarmor as they're flexible. I'm currently lowered and running RA and while the flaps do scrape (no actual damage), they won't tear off like the Rokbloks.
Personally I run mud flaps because when I lead my friends through some spirited driving roads I used to throw a spray of rocks at them due to my sticky tires. I felt really bad one time after I hit one of them in the face... twice... on the same drive lol.
As for color I'd say go with something low key like the black with red lettering.
