Because the rally armors are softer, they wont rip out mounting hardware if you back up over a low bump. Some guy on youtube with a wrx had this happen to him: mudflap torn off and hardware in place. He contacted rally armor and he bought a new flap or a whole new set of flaps instead of a whole new kit, I can't remember. I plan on making my car lower in the future and so I went with rally armor
