Yeah, basically when you move the turn signal without locking into place it'll automatically signal 4 or 3 times. You can set it up default is 4x. Same deal with cars that comes with this feature. I believe the 2018 brz will have this feature (finally, should've had it years before).
The flashing light can be controlled when you turn on your hazards then pushing the signal stalk left or right... again, it can be customized to your liking.
Also, when you lock your car it'll turn all 4 signal lights on for 20 seconds (again you can change it etc). Basically gives you light when you're walking away or something. Nice deal since the lights on the 17 brz are pretty deng bright. Although, i know the headlights stays on for certain amount of time too when you leave your car. But I have the habit of turning my headlights off when I leave the car.
