So im thinking about trying to mess with this after work today.

For this I will grab pin 17 on the 28 pin plug and run it to a rocker switch, with this I will be able to cut the VSS signal, allowing me to type in an address/use my phone, then flip the switch back allowing my gps to continue to be accurate.

From what I gathered this sounds like the only way to do it until someone finds a pin allowing us to get around this a different way.

Any other input? other things I should try while im back there?
