I was all about the simple styling when I started looking, but I saw something a bit more elegant and just the right style for my now-fiance (who doesn't wear jewelry like ever). The important thing isn't the price paid, it's the time and attention you spend on finding the ring she never wants to take off.

I kind of figure that's what's going to happen with me. I've been looking online a bit, and have found that the 3 diamond style is mostly in line with what I think she's going to like. I plan to just to a bunch of research over the next few weeks, and then once I'm home for the winter, I'll plan some creative routes to our usual haunts that just so happen to have jewellery shops on the way and we can do some window shopping.
My thing is, I could spend around 2k cash, anything much more than that, I'd likely need to finance, so that would have to be taken into account. I presume that financing is a regular thing for rings?

Thanks hum!
I have a feeling she won't care for the dollar amount, despite her teasing that she won't accept anything that's a penny less than my 3 months gross.
