Yes, that makes a difference. The original post was about peak numbers. A theoretically flat 250hp power curve will smoke a 300hp peaky power curve if cars were the same weight. The FA20 engine always seems to make peaky numbers. This is why this car seems "slower" even with good peak dyno numbers.
My car has the same power to weight as a stingray vette, yet I get blown out the water against it.

I think that statement is true of the supercharged FA20's. The turbo ones are a different story though.
Green: stock FR-S with intake
Red: BRZ with Vortech SC @ 9psi
