So I had some ft86club decals put on a few days ago, as shown below:
However, the worst has happened yet again!
Not the windshield this time, but I crashed my car.
I hydroplaned on the highway while making a pass, spun into a guardrail back end first, but the real problem came when an oncoming car just barely clipped my front end, my back end was up against the guardrail and in the shoulder, but my front end was hanging out in traffic, and everyone stopped or avoided me except this one car, and that's what totaled the car.
The red car hit me so hard that my car actually did a 180, so in this picture, my car is placed the opposite of how it was when I was hit, you can see the left front damage here:
My insurance has already declared it a total loss, but I've expressed interest in buying the car back, but I'm still in the whole "exploring my options" phase, part of me wants to keep it, and considering I work at a Subaru dealership and have contacts among the technicians, it might be a good idea, and if I do fix it up and at least get it to the point where it's street legal, I now own the car, have no payments, and can touch up the rest as I go from there.
That was a pretty bad crash, I felt like I got hit at 40-50 mph while still probably grinding against the guardrail at 20-30mph, but I'm ok and so was my passenger.
