It only occures under conditions pushing the car hard like on the track. Otherwise it isnt too bad, just dont try to accelerate quickly in a at low RPM which puts too much load on the drivetrain (ie dont try to pass somebody on the highway at 2k rpm, just downshift into the 3-4k range first). It isn't something you can notice unless data logging/monitoring. I have an OFT which has a warning trigger for me to notice when knock could be present.
