I did my TOB a few weekends ago. It was by far the easiest tranny I’ve ever dropped. Did it in the driveway on jack stands and used a floor jack with a 2x6 on top in place of a legit tranny jack. For me the key was to jack the front of the engine to keep it from leaning forward or else it binds on the lower studs making it nearly impossible to slide the tranny off and back on.

I had no problem removing the prop bolts or putting them back on while on my back. I had the car up about 1.5ft and I am about 158lbs. It helps a lot if you can get your wife to put it in neutral and the set/unset the ebrake for you. My old wife would give me shit if I asked her to help with something like that. I traded her in for a newer, younger hotter model. Hahaha. She will sit in a chair next to the car for hours while I work. This is after 7 years together and 4 years married. She is my best friend. Anyways, sorry to ramble. 😀
