Forgive me for being the pedantic english professor, but for some reason I couldn't pass this up: "
bare with me" sounds like an invitation that could get you into an embarrassing spot, as in "get naked with me." Spell it "
bear with me" and you've got "help me carry this," which I'm sure you meant. Another victim of words that sound alike. Worth a giggle, maybe.
