Haha I thought this would never happen to me but its true, I ran out of gas while driving earlier today. 
I was super busy today and was unable to go to the gas station and wanted to wait till tomorrow, plus I didn't know how much I could drive past the gas warning light. It happened so fast, all of a sudden the RPM wouldnt go past 5k while giving throttle and BAM the car turned off!! Luckily I was able to coast and turn into a neighborhood even though it was a large street  ....imagine not finding any turns! 
...I can now say I learned my lesson, and will be filling up every half a tank.
I wanted to know If I damaged my car or parts in any way because of the car turning off due to running out of gas?
Have any of you guys run out of gas while driving?...Any stories? |
