Ehh, I think you're misunderstanding me. I'm not saying seeing the side of your car is important, not sure why you thought that, but moreso what is to your side, i.e. next to you. Again, have you tried convex side view mirrors? I understand th importanxe of properly adjusted mirrors, but you cannot accomplish what these mirrors do with your stock mirrors. Their shape expands your field of vision.
