Energy, above, is basically correct, we can't get these tires here.


If you look closely this is not the 4s tire. This is the 4 tire.

Appears in pic that this specific tire was Made in Germany. 5th week of 2017.

I'm asking Michelin about this now...why we don't yet get this tire here.

I think, not sure, that the 4 is for smaller size wheels, 4s for larger than our wheels. Information not clear on the difference between these two model tires. Michelin's website also implies the construction of these models may be different, one from the other.

Both are (updated) replacements for the Pilot Super Sport.

Michelin expects tread life of the Pilot Sport 4 tire to be 20,000 miles...nice...LOL

Did get a half assed response from Michelin. Tire not available yet to the USA. Most likely they just don't yet have sufficient manufacturing capacity for this one new model tire.

Michelin does show the Pilot Sport 4 available in 235/45/17, though not yet in 215/45/17 for USA.
