I was thinking. Is it possible that so many are having failures due to that DIY on this forum for adjusting the clutch engagement point? Any car I have ever had, that adjustment is't really for the engagement point but to adjust how much free pedal you have before contacting the TOB. Maybe people are adjusting this to the point where they have their TOB under load at all times.

Stock setup on mine, went around 70k i think, maybe 65k. Just the nature of the car, but if you're doing it outside of warranty, i recommend replacing other tranny components too, save on labor in the long run.
