Any car I have ever had, that adjustment is't really for the engagement point but to adjust how much free pedal you have before contacting the TOB. Maybe people are adjusting this to the point where they have their TOB under load at all times.
Nope. It is just a crappy TOB. No mystery. Mine and many others were completely stuck adjustment and they went bad. The very fact there is a TSB and new part number shows how common the issue is. The vast majority of owners will never mess with adjustment.
