Like you, my FRS was totaled , but it was last June when a SUV rammed me on the highway. The insurance co. also gave me a bit more because I argued their evaluation criteria. I also had a loan, turned around and bought a BRZ fully equipped with 20,000 miles less on the odometer and utilized a paid rental from the insurance co. for 6 weeks (the time it took me to find and negotiate my price on the BRZ). Still, it was time consuming and time is irreplaceable.
