Hello Chefboyarmin and welcome to our forum .......

You might try plan B ...... first. That would be to disconnect your car's battery for a few minutes (then hook it back up .... ) to make sure the engine code thrower just isn't messen with you. You might get lucky.

If that don't work, I'd suggest you go with plan A, that @strat61caster suggested.
