My car does chirp, and like yours, I have noticed a small chirp while driving which coincides with the A/C compressor engaging (this also coincides with a small power drop or lag that I can feel when driving). I recently changed my oil at 1000 miles and to some degree the chirp is minimized but it is still there. It really doesn't bother me as much as most on this forum. If they find a solution, I might let them work on it, but until it causes some other issue I'll leave it alone.

The occasional chirp is related to the A/C. However, that is independent of the crickets chirping (non A/C related in further tests I performed today).
