I was about to speculate on Renault+Kubica, decided to google first in case there were known pieces of the Mclaren-Renault-RB puzzle. (I would have guessed reserve driver with a few free practices at absolute best)
Looks like getting Sainz meant that Renault lost interest in Kubica so he's hunting for a Williams or Sauber ride.
