Same unit in my '12 STI. So you think this is tied to either the VSS or GPS sensor? I read a post that a guy had a switch installed that bypassed the VSS...which apparently worked:

Anyways, I'm hoping that someone might have a better understanding of how to do this...I sure as hell didn't.
